Assistant Director

🎬 About the Role

Collaborates with the Director to support their vision. Takes notes during rehearsals, works with actors on character development, and may lead rehearsals in the Director’s absence. Helps manage schedules and scene blocking. Other tasks may include coordinating costume days, set building days, crafting nights., etc. depending on the interest of the successful candidate!

Assistant Stage Manager (ASM)

🎭 About the Role

Supports the Stage Manager with rehearsals, props, and backstage operations. Ensures smooth communication between cast, orchestra, crew, and creative team. Assists in coordinating scene changes and backstage during performances. Other tasks may include coordinating costume days, set building days, crafting nights., etc. depending on the interest of the successful candidate!

Assistant Choreographer

💃 About the Role

Assists the Choreographer in teaching and refining dance numbers. Helps break down choreography for cast members, runs warm-ups, and supports dance rehearsals. Working alongside the Choreographer, this person will lead choreography clean-up and review sessions. They will need to know all the choreography in the show!

Producer – Community Events

🎟️ About the Role

Plans and oversees community engagement and fundraising activities (e.g., trivia night, paint night, spin class, bowling night, etc.). Builds relationships with local groups, coordinates event logistics, and works alongside Producer - Marketing in promotion.

Producer – Donations and Sponsorships

💰 About the Role

Manages fundraising initiatives and sponsorships. Identifies potential donors and partners, uses sponsorship booklets, and maintains relationships with supporters. Organizes creative donation campaigns and ensures sponsor recognition through the program.

Marketing Coordinator / Content Creator

📣 About the Role

Working alongside the Producer - Marketing, this team develops and executes marketing strategies to promote the production and community events. Creates engaging content for social media, newsletters, and the website, including graphics, videos, and written posts. Coordinates show promotions, manages press releases, and supports ticket sales efforts by building audience engagement and community awareness. This team will also be responsible for designing the show program.

Set Builder & Painter

🔧 About the Role

Help us build Whoville, the Jungle of Nool, and everything in between! You'll assist with constructing and painting set pieces to bring the world of Seussical to life. No fancy experience needed—just a willingness to learn, use tools, paint big, and work as part of a fun backstage crew.

Costume Designer & Crafter

👗 About the Role

Bring the characters of Seussical to life with creative costumes! From Whos to wild jungle creatures, you’ll design, source, sew, and style outfits for our cast. As this is a wacky and wonderful show with imaginative characters, some sewing or crafting skills are a plus, but enthusiasm and creativity matter most!

Props Volunteer / Crafter

🎭 About the Role

Help us create the quirky world of Seussical one prop at a time! Whether it's crafting clovers, painting props, or finding just the right hat, you’ll be part of the team that puts the fun in functional. No special skills needed—just a creative spirit, a glue gun (or willingness to learn), and a love for hands-on theatre magic.
