Our Team
Krista & Catherine Mihevc
Artistic Director & Executive Producer
Krista and Catherine Mihevc have been living and breathing theatre since childhood. Over the past 20 years, every aspect of the performing arts has captured these sisters; from performances with cousins in the living room, to performing alongside professional artists in 630-seat theatres - from ticketing family members to watching movies at home, to purchasing tickets for professional productions around the world.Â
Theatre has been an outlet to express, connect, and grow. Building such an outlet in their own neighbourhood has been an inspiring labour of love. As the Executive Producer, Catherine is inspired to combine her business degree with her artistic passions and upbringing. As the Artistic Director, Krista is inspired to combine her career working with people to build an inclusive community, both on and off the stage.Â
Krista and Catherine would like to thank their Mum & Dad, Justin, Lisa, Emmitt, and Declan who've embraced this dream with unwavering support. They would also like to thank their incredible community for welcoming Hillcrest Village Community Players with open, enthusiastic arms. They are extremely proud to be building this company together, and this is only the beginning ...Â

Meg is so happy to be working with Hillcrest again for another production. She previously choreographed Anne of Green Gables for them, and was so excited to be invited back for a second season. Her theme for the Sound of Music was long lines and technique, pushing the cast to really develop their triple threat skills. Meg, a proud Haligonian, has trained in various styles of dance including ballet, contemporary, modern, hip hop, jazz, musical theatre/theatre jazz, tap, and pom. Meg has also choreographed and coached the varsity cheer team, Ravens Rhythm at Carleton University, and currently cheers with the University of Toronto competitive pom team.
